Ukraine will receive licenses to produce SCALP cruise missiles, Aster-30 anti-aircraft missiles for the SAMP/T air defense system and AASM Hammer guided aerial bombs. This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron at a press conference after a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris on Monday, July 13.
Macron stressed that the allies will strengthen the capabilities of Ukraine's air defense. According to him, support for Ukraine will be long-term, and decisions on financing will be implemented faster.
"The first aircraft should already be flying in Ukrainian skies in 2028-2029. That is, additional radars, additional missiles. We have also added licensing. This is Aster-30 for SAMP/T air defense systems, AASM Hammer air defense systems and SCALP cruise missiles. This will strengthen Ukraine's capabilities and positions on the front," the French President emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 8, US President Donald Trump said that the United States would provide Ukraine with licenses to produce interceptor missiles for MIM-104 Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
