Law enforcement officers found at least 16 gunshot wounds on the body of one of the murdered Moseychuk brothers, and 5 on the other. The motive for the crime was a domestic conflict. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Region police, Andrii Rubel, on Facebook on Monday, July 13.

Rubel noted that in order to solve the crime, investigators and operatives of the Kyiv Region police analyzed recordings from video surveillance cameras, tracked the routes of vehicles, and collected and compared evidence. According to the investigation, the kidnapping and murder of two brothers was caused by a domestic conflict.

"So, on the night of June 27, eight military personnel arrived at the brothers' residence in the Bila Tserkva district. One of the suspects shot a 36-year-old man in the leg with the aim of intimidation. Later, the attackers tied their hands and feet, blindfolded them, after which they were forcibly placed in cars and, on the instructions of the organizer, were taken to another region. There, the suspects illegally detained the victims until July 1. On that fateful day, the organizer gave an order to kill the kidnapped people," the head of the Kyiv Region police reported.
