Zelenskyy proposes Rada to extend martial law and mobilization until November

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to extend martial law and mobilization from August 2 for 90 days, i.e. until October 31, 2026.

The corresponding bills No. 15401 and 15402 were registered in the Verkhovna Rada on July 13, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, the bills propose to approve decrees No. 596 and No. 597 of July 13, already signed by Zelenskyy, on extending the term of martial law in Ukraine and the term of general mobilization from August 2, 2026 for 90 days.

This will be the 20th vote of the parliament on these issues.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 28, the Verkhovna Rada extended the term of martial law and general mobilization from May 4 for 90 days, i.e. until August 2, 2026.

On February 24, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada approved the introduction of martial law by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in connection with russia's start of the war and the announcement and implementation of general mobilization.
