The candidate for the post of Prime Minister, the current head of Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company Serhii Koretskyi earned over UAH 30 million last year, is a dollar millionaire and works part-time in an association of apartment building co-owners.
This is evidenced by the data from his electronic declaration, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Last year, Koretskyi received UAH 8.5 million in salary from Ukrnafta, UAH 5.6 million in salary from Ukrtatnafta, almost UAH 14.5 million in salary from Naftogaz, UAH 2.3 million from royalties, as well as UAH 6,000 in salary from the apartment building "Zamok na Pankivskyi".
Koretskyi and his wife have three cars: one of his own and two rented from his own company. Koretskyi's wife has her own Maserati.
Koretskyi's wife's company is engaged in the restaurant business and coffee sales. Last year, she earned almost UAH 3.5 million and sold one of her cars.
Koretsky has over EUR 1 million in cash, has lent over USD 2.2 million to a legal entity abroad, and has lent over UAH 42 million to private companies in Ukraine, including his wife's company "Saneko".
Koretsky has half a million euros, over USD 200,000, and USD 275,000 in cash in his bank accounts.
His wife has USD 300,000 in the bank and has lent millions of hryvnias to third parties.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is changing its political strategy; that is why he suggested that the current Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko lead a new direction in relations with a key partner.
