In Kyiv, the number of casualties has risen to 12 following russia’s nighttime shelling of the capital using ballistic missiles.
It was reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“There are 12 casualties in the capital as a result of the enemy’s attack. Among the wounded are two children—ages 10 and 11,” he said.
As a reminder, russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles on the night of July 11. The strike caused fires in several districts of the capital and damaged residential and non-residential buildings, a railway locomotive, and energy infrastructure facilities.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the strikes on civilian infrastructure occurred even before the air raid alert was issued.
