The Netherlands said it had given Ukraine "everything it could" from its Patriot interceptor missile stockpiles.

Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said this in an interview with Radio Liberty, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"We have already given everything we could," he said in response to Kyiv's request for additional Patriot systems and interceptor missiles.

According to the government official, Amsterdam is now actively working with Kyiv to encourage other countries to do more for Ukraine's air defense.

The Dutch leadership recently discussed this topic directly with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

"We need to put more pressure on other countries to join in and make their contribution. And we are doing this together with Ukraine," Berendsen said.

He stressed that assistance to Ukraine is a direct investment in the Netherlands' own security, in particular due to the unique knowledge, experience and innovations that are currently being developed in the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.

At the same time, the head of the diplomatic department refused to publicly name the countries that are delaying supplies.

He only noted that everyone knows about the significant contribution of Germany, Poland and the countries of Northern Europe, which have been doing a lot for years, but now it is necessary for other states to join in more active support.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 2, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov appealed to 40 partner countries with a request to urgently transfer interceptor missiles for Patriot systems against the backdrop of massive missile attacks by the aggressor country of russia.
