The court has arrested without bail a current employee of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense and a former law enforcement officer for the murder of citizen Anastasia Berezovska, who is suspected of an assassination attempt on sanctioned businessman Vadym Yermolayev in Monaco.
This was announced by the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
At the request of prosecutors from the Prosecutor General's Office, the court has chosen preventive measures for two suspects.
Both were taken into custody without setting bail.
They are charged with premeditated murder committed by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy (Clause 12, Part 2, Article 115 of the Criminal Code).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a current Defense Intelligence employee admitted that, together with his acquaintance - a former law enforcement officer, he shot Anastasia Berezovska in Ukraine - a suspect in the attempted murder of sanctioned businessman Vadym Yermolaev and his family members in Monaco.
