Drones struck the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai (russia) on the night of Friday, July 10.
This was announced by the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the channel, the explosions occurred in the village of Ilskaya in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Krai.
Local residents published videos that probably recorded the moment of the impact on the territory of the oil refinery.
Currently, black smoke is rising in the area of the refinery.
Information about the extent of the damage is being clarified.
The russian authorities have not officially commented on the attack.
The Ilsky refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in southern russia.
The capacity of its primary processing units is about 6.6 million tons of oil per year.
According to open sources, the enterprise is involved in supplying fuel to the russian army, which is why it has repeatedly become the target of drone attacks during a full-scale war.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 17, Ukrainian units struck the Ilya oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai, which led to a fire on the territory of the enterprise.
