Including, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in June decreased by 0.8%, for clothing and footwear - decreased by 2.3%, for housing and utility services - increased by 0.9%, for services related to healthcare - increased by 0.3%, for education - increased by 0.3%.
Compared to June 2025, in June 2026, consumer prices increased by 7.2%.
In January-June 2026, inflation was 5.7%.
In June 2026, the core consumer price index was 0.5%.
Compared to June 2025, in June 2026, core inflation was 8.1%.
Core inflation is a subindex of the consumer price index.
Core CPI (core inflation) is a part of inflation that reflects the dynamics of free prices without taking into account items whose prices are affected by administrative and seasonal factors.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, inflation was 0.9%, core inflation - 0.7%.
In 2025, inflation was recorded at 8.0%, in 2024 - inflation at 12.0%, in 2023 - inflation at 5.1%, in 2022 - inflation at 26.6%, in 2021 - inflation at 10.0%.
In 2025, core inflation was 8.0%.
The state budget for 2026 foresees a growth in consumer prices (December to December of the previous year) of 9.9%.
