Budanov expects fair reaction from law enforcement agencies to clash near territorial recruitment center in Lviv

Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov expects a fair reaction from law enforcement agencies to the events in Lviv.

Budanov wrote about this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"If you tear off clothes and beat a serviceman of your army today, think about who will protect you tomorrow from the enemy army, which will also beat and tear off clothes, but from you. I expect a fair reaction from law enforcement agencies to the events in Lviv," he wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the clash near the territorial recruitment and social support center in Lviv took place on the evening of July 8 on Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue in the Sykhiv neighbourhood to local Telegram channels, the crowd surrounded the official car of the territorial recruitment center, damaged it and overturned it.

The Lviv Regional territorial recruitment and social support center stated that all those involved in the attack on the military will be held accountable in accordance with the law.

After the clashes near the territorial recruitment and social support center in Lviv, the military ombudsman Olha Reshetylova stated that the responsibility for the conflicts between military and civilians lies not only with the participants in the incidents, but also with the government, military-political leadership and local self-government bodies. She also called for a review of approaches to reservations and reform of the mobilization system.
