Energy Commission approves increase in tariff for Ukrenergo's electricity transmission from August 1 by 25% to UAH 928.45 per MWh

The National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Utilities (Energy Commission) approved an increase in the tariff for NEC Ukrenergo's electricity transmission from August 1, 2026 by 25% to UAH 928.45 per MWh.

This decision was made at a meeting of the commission on July 7, which was broadcast online, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The National Commission reported that the draft will be posted on the website for discussion in order to make a final decision.

According to the draft decision, for "green" electrometallurgy enterprises, the tariff may increase by 27% - to UAH 563.26 per MWh (excluding VAT).

In the structure of the new tariff, the component for the implementation of special obligations to support electricity production from renewable energy sources will be UAH 365.19 per MWh.

It is noted that the draft resolution was approved with a note, subject to the elimination of the legislative conflict.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Energy Commission planned to increase the electricity transmission tariff for Ukrenergo by 21.6% from July 1, 2026 - to UAH 903.53 per MWh (excluding VAT).
