A russian attack on Kyiv on the night of July 8 damaged 42 tram cars manufactured by the Polish company Pesa. The strike hit one of the capital’s depots. In December 2018, Kyiv completed the delivery of a batch of 47 Pesa trams purchased from Poland to modernize the city’s electric transit system. The recent attack damaged most of the trams in this shipment.
