The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will consider allocating next tranche to Ukraine on July 20.

This was announced by Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada on July 3, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The option of a board meeting on July 20 is currently being considered, that is, all the documents, everything necessary from the government, from the President, everything has been done so that we receive the appropriate funds for the first review of the program," he said.

According to him, the bill on the abolition of privileges for international postal items remains relevant, and the adoption of the document is one of Ukraine's obligations not only to the IMF, but also within the framework of the macro-financial assistance program.

The issue of introducing VAT for individual entrepreneurs has been postponed for now, but the timing of returning to this issue will depend on the financial capabilities of the state and the situation on the front.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-June, Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund agreed at the staff level on the first review of the four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program worth USD 8.1 billion. If the results of the review are approved by the IMF Board of Directors, Ukraine will receive a tranche of USD 690 million.
