On the night of July 6, russian troops carried out another massive combined attack on the capital. The occupiers used several types of weapons simultaneously, including strike drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, in particular hypersonic Zircons. Large-scale destruction, severe fires and human casualties were recorded in several districts of Kyiv. This is reported by head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

The Darnytskyi, Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi and Obolonskyi districts suffered the greatest damage.

As of this morning, the number of victims has increased to 24 people, including two children. In addition, during search and rescue operations, the State Emergency Service unblocked two more bodies from under the rubble, which increased the total number of killed to seven people. Emergency services and medics continue to work at the scene of the impact.

The most difficult situation is currently in the Darnytskyi district of the city. There, enemy debris hit a 25-story residential building at the level of the fourth floor, blocking residents of the upper floors. Rescuers were able to evacuate 22 people, but two killed were found under the rubble. Unblocking work is ongoing. In the same district, a fire broke out on the 23rd and 24th floors of another 30-story skyscraper, from which people are also being urgently evacuated. Additionally, the destruction of non-residential structures was recorded.

In the Podilskyi district, debris damaged several residential buildings, in particular, in one of the 21-story buildings, the structures between the third and fourth floors were partially destroyed. A fire also broke out in a non-residential building, from which the fire spread to cars parked nearby. Some debris fell onto the territory of a local garage cooperative.

In other parts of the city, mainly industrial and warehouse areas were hit. In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out in the territory of a non-residential building and a warehouse caught fire, and in the Obolonskyi district, a large warehouse building also caught fire as a result of falling debris. Specialists continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and data on the victims is being clarified.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the army of the aggressor country of russia is preparing a new massive air attack on Ukraine. It may be "timed" to coincide with the US Independence Day and the NATO summit in Turkey.
