During Smilianskyi's 10 years of work, Ukrposhta suffered losses of UAH 3.5 billion and received profit of only UAH 0.75 billion

In 2016-2025, Ukrposhta suffered losses (net financial result after tax) of UAH 2.768 billion.

This is stated in the company's financial results published on its official website.

During the 10 years of Ukrposhta management by Ihor Smilianskyi, the company received UAH 0.75 billion in profit and over UAH 3.5 billion in losses. For such work, Smilianskyi receives UAH 11.7 million per year, that is, UAH 105 million in 9 years.

Each of the years 2016-2018 was unprofitable for Ukrposhta - in total, during this period, the company worked for a negative result of UAH 846.741 million.

The next three years - 2019-2021 were profitable. Total net profit after tax – UAH 753.862 million.

But after the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrposhta again began to show losses - for a total of UAH 2.5 billion, the largest in 2022 – UAH 1.25 billion.

It is worth noting that for all eight of these years, the gross financial result of Ukrposhta (gross revenue from sales minus the cost of goods and services) was positive. In total, gross profit for the entire period amounted to UAH 9.5 billion.

As the agency reported, the national postal operator Ukrposhta ended 2025 with losses after tax in the amount of UAH 206.551 million.

The company's net income in 2025 compared to 2024 increased by 1.1% and amounted to UAH 13.118 billion.
