The Ukrainian Armed Forces have once again struck the "Dubna" Space Communications Center (SCC) in the moscow oblast. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Today, our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war once again struck the 'Dubna' space communications center in the Moscow Oblast. This is a specialized satellite communications facility used, in particular, for reconnaissance and coordination of the activities of Russia’s occupation forces in Ukraine, he said.

This facility is located more than 500 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

Zelenskyy noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had recently struck four such russian centers—not only in the moscow oblast but also in the Vladimir oblast.

"We are systematically implementing our plan for long-range sanctions and making it as difficult as possible for the aggressor state to conduct invasion operations against Ukraine and occupy our territories. Appropriate actions are also being prepared against other similar enemy facilities," he added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 22, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had struck a space communications center in the moscow oblast. It has been confirmed that the strike hit the hardware-modular complex of a 32-meter MARK-IV antenna used for satellite communications, as well as a technical building adjacent to this antenna. In addition, a strike on the main production and administrative (hardware and software) building was confirmed, resulting in the partial destruction of one of its walls. This building houses the central communications equipment room, ground control complex equipment, and the central control console for the satellite network.

This facility in Dubna is the largest ground-based satellite communications complex in russia used for military communications and for controlling the satellite transponders employed by the russian Ministry of Defense for communications, reconnaissance, and troop coordination.
