On the morning of June 29, russian forces struck an ambulance that was responding to a call in the Kherson Region. The medical personnel were reportedly unharmed, while the vehicle sustained significant damage.
It was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"At around 10:30 a.m., Russian occupiers attacked an ambulance in Darivka with a drone. The enemy deliberately targeted the crew, who were performing their duties and responding to a call to help people," the statement said.
It is noted that as a result of the attack, the vehicle sustained extensive damage: the side window was shattered, the body and doors were riddled with shrapnel, and a wheel and other parts of the vehicle were damaged.
Preliminary reports indicate that no medical personnel were injured.
As a reminder, in June, authorities released a video showing another russian drone strike on an ambulance.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in Dnipro, following a russian strike on a private enterprise on June 29, the death toll rose to five, with ten more people injured.
