Growing dissatisfaction among russians due to the Kremlin's helplessness in the face of regular air attacks on Ukraine has led to a noticeable drop in the rating of russian president vladimir putin.
His level of support has fallen to its lowest level since the full-scale invasion of 2022.
This was reported by The New York Times, citing data from a sociological survey by the pro-government russian Foundation Public Opinion (FOM) for June 19-21.

The rating decline accelerated after the prolonged and intensive strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military infrastructure in Crimea finally destroyed the usual way of life on the occupied peninsula, forcing the local collaborationist authorities to introduce a state of emergency.
According to the FOM report, the following changes in russians' moods were recorded:
Trust in putin: The indicator of those who "mostly trust" the dictator fell by 5% in the last week of the survey, to 69% (a week earlier it was 74%). In contrast, the number of those who "mostly distrust" him increased to a record 18%.
Assessment of the President's work: Positive assessment of putin's activities decreased to 71% (in recent weeks it remained at 75%). At the same time, the number of russian citizens who believe that he is working "mostly poorly" increased to 14%.
Assessment of the russian government's performance: At the same time, approval of the russian cabinet's actions has collapsed. Only 44% of respondents believe that the government is doing a good job (down from 48%), while dissatisfaction with its work has reached a peak of 34%.
The latest sociological surveys demonstrate the disappointment of russian citizens in the capabilities of russian air defense and the Kremlin's inability to defend the occupied territories, which were previously positioned as an "impregnable fortress".
The russian dictator himself is trying to ignore the worsening situation. Commenting on the recent large-scale drone attacks, putin limited himself to a vague statement, calling the devastating strikes an attempt by Ukraine to "shake up" russian society.
