The next Ukraine Recovery Conference will be held in Tallinn (Estonia) in 2027.
This was announced by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
After the completion of this year's Recovery Conference, which took place in Gdańsk, Poland, Estonia took over the organizing baton.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stressed that the reconstruction of Ukraine is the largest economic project in Europe in the next decade, which includes both the restoration of infrastructure destroyed by russian aggression, the development of strong and democratic institutions, and the country's closer integration into the European Union.
"Since 2022, Estonia has been contributing to the reconstruction of Ukraine through hundreds of projects. Dozens of our enterprises and organizations contribute to the restoration of Ukraine and strengthening its resilience every day. Hosting the conference in Estonia is a sign of our commitment to continuing long-term support for Ukraine and advancing this strategic process at the international level," the minister noted.
Tsahkna added that Estonia's goal is to involve other Baltic and Nordic countries in the preparation and organization of the conference (NB8 format).
"The NB8 cooperation format allows us to combine the knowledge, experience and resources of our region to provide Ukraine with even more effective support and to discuss joint initiatives that will help accelerate both the reconstruction process and integration with Europe," the politician concluded.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, Naftogaz Group and Polish oil and gas and energy concern Orlen signed agreements on the development of LNG supplies to Ukraine and on the exchange of experience in the field of sustainable development, decarbonization and ESG.
For the implementation of new projects, Ukrzaliznytsia joint stock company managed to attract almost USD 18 million in international support during the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine (URC 2026), which was held in Gdańsk on June 25-26.
The Ukrainian delegation at the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine in Gdańsk was headed by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
