Air defense forces neutralize 113 of 129 russian drones at night, there are hits at 7 locations

On the night of Saturday, June 27, russian troops launched 129 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 113 of them.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of June 27 (from 06:00 pm on June 26), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 129 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and simulator drones of the Parody type from the directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation), as well as from the occupied Crimea and Donetsk.

"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 am, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 113 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the report says.

13 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 7 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 3 locations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 26, the russians launched 7 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 189 strike drones over Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to neutralize 177 targets: 3 missiles and 174 drones.
