The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced a shelling of US military deployment sites in the Middle East. Tehran claims that the attack was a response to US airstrikes on military facilities on the coast of Iran.

This was reported by the Tasnim agency, citing a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC said that if the US strikes are repeated, Iran's response will be "even more massive".

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported strikes on Iranian missile and drone depots, as well as coastal radar stations. Washington explained these actions as a response to Iran's attack on a merchant ship in the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump said that Tehran violated the memorandum of understanding concluded by the parties in mid-June.
