In the temporarily occupied Crimea, commuter train service has been suspended on one section of the line. This was caused by serious damage to the railroad tracks resulting from nighttime explosions. It was reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind.”

Commuter train service has been suspended in the Sovietskyi District of the peninsula on the section between the “30-kilometer passing loop” and the “Krasnoflotska Station.” The local commuter rail company has also officially confirmed the suspension of train service.

The first images from the scene have already been posted online. Photos and videos show that the railroad tracks were completely twisted and bent as a result of the nighttime explosions. Eyewitnesses also captured thick smoke rising above the tracks, which was visible from several kilometers away after the explosions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russians are fleeing Crimea en masse via the Kerch Bridge: wait times are reaching five hours.

Meanwhile, as a result of the attacks on occupied Crimea, Sevastopol has been left completely without power.

Following strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Sunday, June 21, the occupiers suspended operations at the Kerch ferry crossing indefinitely. Truck drivers were advised to reach the peninsula via a road in the south of the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Regions.

Following this, the occupying administration announced that the free sale of fuel in Crimea would be suspended for both individuals and businesses.

The occupiers also banned the placement of children in camps and other recreational facilities within Crimea. The evacuation of children from the “Artek” camp has begun.
