New confirmations of results of hit on Space Communications Center in Moscow Oblast appeared - General Staff

New confirmations of the results of the hit on the night of June 22 on the Space Communications Center (SCC) "Dubna" in the Moscow Oblast have appeared.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, it is reported that additional data analysis confirmed the hit on the hardware and modular complex of the 32-meter MARK-IV antenna, which is used for satellite communications, as well as in the technical building next to this antenna.

In addition, the damage to the main production and administrative (hardware and software) building with partial destruction of one of the walls was confirmed. This building contains the central hardware of the communication lines, equipment of the ground control complex and the central control panel of the satellite network.

This facility in the city of Dubna is the largest ground-based satellite communications complex in russia, used for military communications, controlling satellite repeaters used by the russian defense ministry for communications, reconnaissance, and coordination of troops.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 22, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine had struck a space communications center in the Moscow Oblast.
