The operation was carried out by the fighters of the 1st separate center of the Unmanned Systems Forces under the clear coordination of the recently created Center for Deep Destruction of the USF. According to the commander, seven accurate hits were recorded on the strategic energy facility.

Robert Brovdy also noted that the attack on the substation was part of a larger night operation.
