Russia, the aggressor nation, has suspended operations at the Kerch ferry crossing, which provided transport between the Krasnodar Krai and the occupied Crimea. Earlier today, Ukrainian drones attacked targets on both sides of the strait.
The Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters reported this on its Telegram channel.
The Operational Headquarters stated that overnight, as a result of a drone attack on the Kerch ferry crossing, the ferry “Panagia” was struck. Two casualties have been reported: one fatality and one injury.
A fire also broke out at an oil terminal in the village of Chushka, located on the spit of the same name.

Later, the Operational Headquarters announced that ferry service across the Kerch Strait would be temporarily suspended starting June 21.
“Since heavy-duty vehicles are prohibited from crossing the Crimea bridge, drivers must choose an alternative land route—Highway R-280 via Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Mariupol, Melitopol, and Simferopol,” the statement reads.
This refers to the so-called “land corridor” to Crimea, which runs through the southern part of the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Regions.
Earlier today, a video was posted online that allegedly shows three ferries crossing the Kerch Strait. The footage shows a column of smoke rising above each ferry.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, overnight on June 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used drones to attack occupier targets in the Kerch Strait. The attack struck an oil depot in Kerch, as well as an oil terminal on the opposite side of the strait.
Later, collaborator Sergey Aksyonov, whom the invaders appointed as the “governor” of Crimea, stated that the free sale of fuel to both individuals and businesses on the peninsula had been suspended.
