Underground members of ATESH movement cut off power to substation in Taganrog and disrupted production of attack UAVs for occupiers

Main points
  • ATESH guerrillas damaged an electrical substation in Taganrog that powered the Atlant Aero plant.
  • The Atlant Aero plant lost stable power supply, necessary for the production of unmanned systems.
  • The power outage stopped the technological process at the plant and temporarily blocked the work of key workshops.

Agents of the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars ATESH stated that they carried out a sabotage in Taganrog and damaged an electrical substation that powered the Atlant Aero defense plant.

The guerrillas emphasize in their Telegram channel that this plant produces Molniya attack and reconnaissance UAVs, as well as components for the Orion unmanned aerial vehicle and control systems for FPV drones.

It is noted that after the substation was damaged, the Atlant Aero plant lost a stable power supply necessary for the operation of production lines. Because of this, the company cannot continuously assemble unmanned systems and produce electronics for new batches of drones that are supplied to the occupiers.

"Due to power outages, the technological process at the plant stopped abruptly. The outage disrupted the current assembly and testing of products, and temporarily blocked the work of key workshops," the report says.

In particular, Atlant Aero is a russian defense plant that is considered an important part of the russian military-industrial complex. Approximately from 2023, the company has been actively engaged in the development, production and testing of unmanned aviation systems.

The guerrillas once again emphasize that each pinpoint strike on the aggressor's facilities weakens its technical capabilities and brings the collapse of its military machine closer.
