In Crimea, Tavriyskaya TPP caught fire after drone attack - publics report series of explosions

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, on the night of June 20, after a drone attack, the Tavriyskaya TPP near Simferopol caught fire.

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind".

According to the channel, the fire on the territory of the power plant has been going on since midnight. Local residents reported a series of explosions, as well as power outages in a number of settlements near Simferopol. In particular, the power went out along the Yalta highway and in the Dobrovsk Valley.

In Bakhchisarai, according to eyewitnesses, at least 13 explosions were heard within an hour, and russian air defense fire was heard over Simferopol. There were also reports of new attacks on the Tavriyskaya TPP at intervals of 10-15 minutes.

According to "Crimean Wind", the fire at the facility continues, and a thick plume of smoke is visible over the Strohanovka district. The channel's authors suggest that a fuel tank could have been hit as a result of the impact. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
