The aggressor country of russia officially recognized the kidnapping of 744,000 Ukrainian children. At the same time, it has become fashionable for russian rich people to adopt children taken from Ukraine. This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets in an interview with Army FM.

Lubinets noted that 1.6 million children lived in the territory currently controlled by the russian occupation authorities. According to him, in their reports, the russians recorded the removal of 774,000 Ukrainian children. Ukrainian authorities and intelligence agencies have verified and tracked the whereabouts of 19,546 children. Some of these children have been officially adopted by russians. In particular, russian Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova adopted a Ukrainian boy, Pylyp, from Mariupol.

"Or a little Ukrainian girl, Marharyta. She was deported when she was 10 months old. She was officially adopted by russian State Duma deputy Sergey Mironov. Her first name, patronymic, last name, date and place of birth were changed. Now she is recorded as Marina Mironova, who was born in the Moscow Oblast. At the same time, she has a brother and sister in Ukraine. We have repeatedly suggested conducting a DNA test for her return," the Ombudsman wrote.

Lubinets emphasized that there are a lot of such cases: "I would say that a certain fashion trend has even formed in the russian establishment - to adopt Ukrainian children," the Ombudsman emphasized.
