Kyiv Pride march to take place in Kyiv on June 21, Kyiv City State Administration calls on participants of events and other citizens to refrain from aggression or provocations.
This is stated in the Kyiv City State Administration's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The city authorities call on all participants of public events, as well as citizens who may have different views on their holding, to comply with the requirements of the law, respect the rights and freedoms of other people and refrain from any aggression or provocations," the message says.
It is noted that during the event, the organizers, law enforcement agencies and city services will direct all efforts to ensure public order and the safety of participants.
Also, during the event, a temporary restriction on the movement of vehicles in the central part of the city and changes in public transport routes are provided.
The Kyiv City State Administration reports that this weekend several public events of various themes are planned in the capital, including the KyivPride March and the information and educational event "March to Protect the Family, Children and Ukraine".
The Kyiv City State Administration is convinced that it is the ability of people with different views to peacefully exercise their rights, respecting the rights and freedoms of each other, that is evidence of the democratic maturity of society and the values for which Ukraine is fighting today.
The city authorities also remind us of the need to strictly follow the instructions of law enforcement officers and event organizers, as well as respond to air raid sirens; if it is announced, participants must immediately go to the nearest shelters.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2025, KyivPride claimed pressure from the police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
