The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, said that the situation in Mykolaiv is currently more stable than in Kyiv, despite the constant shelling of front-line communities in the region. He stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian News Agency.

According to Kim, Mykolaiv lives a normal life as much as possible during the war - schools and businesses are working. At the same time, it cannot be said that Mykolaiv is being bombed every day - most of the strikes fall on front-line communities in the region.

"But now Kyiv is perhaps more dangerous, more alarming, because the city is being heavily shelled. Frontline cities do not react to Shaheds and drones in the same way. We remember what the S-300 is, what artillery is, when you simply do not have time to react in any way," Kim noted.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, over time, people's sense of danger atrophies - residents have learned to filter threats and determine for themselves which ones are more dangerous.

"In Mykolaiv, there can be 20 alerts per day. People see what is flying, for example, in transit towards Odesa. And they do not react. On the contrary, if there is a threat, they react," Kim explained.

Earlier it was reported that Vitalii Kim denied rumors about a change in the owner of the Mykolaivskyi Vaniok Telegram channel.
