In May, Ukrainian military liberated 100 square kilometers more territories than the russian occupation forces managed to capture during the same period. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov following the results of the regular meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format.

According to the head of the defense department, last month demonstrated record-breaking figures for the deoccupation of Ukrainian lands in recent years. This is direct evidence of the growth in the effectiveness of the Defense Forces and a significant increase in pressure on the positions of the invaders.

Fedorov also emphasized that the Ukrainian defenders managed to increase the density of the elimination of enemy manpower and equipment per square kilometer. All these detailed operational results and statistical data were officially presented by the Ukrainian delegation to international partners during the meeting.

He noted that this time the Ramstein meeting was held under the symbolic slogan "Window of Opportunities". He assured that Ukraine clearly sees this window for the coming months and is actively working to create new strategic conditions that will force russia to a just peace.
