Residents of the city of Balashikha in the moscow oblast of the aggressor country russia complained about a so-called “oil rain” falling after Ukrainian drones attacked the moscow Oil Refinery that morning.
The Telegram channel “Caution, Moscow” reported this, citing social media users.

At the same time, authorities in the russian capital stated that the concentration of harmful substances in the air does not exceed the maximum permissible levels. This is confirmed by data on the “Mosekomonitoring” website.
The russian meteorology and astronomy website Meteoweb published a map according to which smoke from the fire at the moscow Oil Refinery was moving precisely to the northeast—toward Balashikha, where residents reported an “oil rain.”

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 17–18, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a massive attack on moscow. The target was the moscow Oil Refinery.
This is the second attack on the facility since the beginning of the week. Last Tuesday, June 16, Ukrainian drones struck the refinery.
According to Reuters, the moscow refinery completely suspended operations as a result of the June 16 attack. The facility supplies 40% of moscow’s gasoline needs.
