Cabinet instructs Pension Fund to continue including missing information about employees' employment in Register of Insured Persons after June 10

The Cabinet of Ministers has instructed the Pension Fund to take measures to include missing information regarding employees’ employment history after June 10 to the Register of Insured Persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance. This is stated in Order No. 595 dated June 17, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

The Pension Fund has also been instructed to ensure, within the limits of the expenditures allocated to the Pension Fund for 2026, to refine the software for matching the personalized records of individuals subject to mandatory state social insurance with the submitted information on employees’ employment history and to simplify access to electronic employment record data.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Pension Fund previously announced that employers who have not submitted paper employment record books for digitization, as well as insured individuals who have not done so on their own, will be able to do so even after June 10, 2026.

On June 10, 2021, the law on the electronic recording of employees’ employment history took effect, and the transition to electronic employment records began. Over the course of five years, the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) was required to include missing data on employees’ employment history in the Register of Insured Persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance, based on information provided by employers.

If the Register of Insured Persons contains complete information on all periods of an individual’s employment history, the old-age pension will be automatically granted starting the day after the individual reaches retirement age.
