President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially confirmed the destruction of an oil refinery in the Moscow Oblast, which occurred as a result of the successful use of Ukrainian long-range weapons.

The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the President, the enemy strategic facility was hit at a distance of about 500 kilometers from Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence and the missile troops for their effective work.

"Russia must be forced to end the war against our people. And Ukrainian long-range weapons are one of the important components of such coercion," the head of state emphasized.

He also emphasized that strikes on the russian rear are a fair response to the constant shelling of Ukrainian cities and the Kremlin's protracted war.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Moscow was massively attacked by dozens of drones, and the largest refinery in the russian capital came under attack.
