The peace agreement between the US and Iran is scheduled to be officially signed on June 19 in Switzerland. The parties agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US President Donald Trump announced the agreement.

The parties agreed to an immediate and final cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Sharif also announced that before signing the document, the mediators will hold a series of meetings to prepare for technical negotiations. The official signing of the agreement is scheduled for June 19 in Switzerland.

US President Donald Trump has confirmed the conclusion of the deal with Iran. He also announced the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the immediate lifting of the naval blockade.

"The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now in place. Congratulations to all! I fully support the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the immediate lifting of the United States naval blockade. Ships of the world, start your engines. Let the oil flow," Trump wrote.

Earlier, Donald Trump said that the Israeli strike on Beirut, Lebanon, should not have happened when a peace deal with Iran was approaching.
