President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has released documents from classified russian sociological reports that are submitted to kremlin leader vladimir putin. The materials obtained by Ukrainian intelligence indicate a sharp drop in the approval ratings of both the dictator himself and the ruling United russia party. He announced this on his social media accounts.
According to Zelenskyy, despite the fact that putin rarely receives completely truthful information without embellishment, even official reports from russian agencies are forcing the kremlin to prepare for the worst. In particular, projected indicators of dissatisfaction among russian citizens continue to rise steadily. The russian leader is already being prepared for the idea that this trend cannot be stopped or brought to a so-called “plateau” by September, when parliamentary elections are scheduled in russia. At the same time, there is a steady decline in support for the ruling party, which, according to the President of Ukraine, will force the kremlin to resort to significantly greater vote rigging.

In addition, intelligence reports indicate a significant rise in protest sentiment across russian regions. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that these documents do not yet account for potential summer events that will further exacerbate the internal situation in the russian federation amid intensifying international pressure.

The Head of State emphasized that while putin responds to all of Ukraine’s public and private peace proposals solely with talk of continuing hostilities, the actual domestic situation in russia should convince him of the opposite—the necessity of peace. "Ukraine proposes to negotiate a dignified peace. Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be concluded with someone else from Russia—with someone who will not turn a blind eye to reality,” Zelenskyy concluded.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine obtained documents from classified reports on the losses of russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine, estimated at 1,315,000 killed and seriously wounded.
