Head of State imposes sanctions on russian telecommunications operators and internet service providers – President's Decree

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted a National Security and Defense Council decision imposing sanctions on 10 russian mobile operators, internet service providers, and satellite communications companies.

The press service of the Office of the President has reported this.

Those subject to sanctions include, in particular, "Lugansk Communications," "Mobile Communication Systems," the federal satellite and telecommunications operator "Amtel-Svyaz," and "Satellite Communications Company."

The Office of the President stated that these companies provide secure communication channels for the occupiers, internet access in the temporarily occupied territories, and the broadcast of russian television channels.
