Dozens of trucks have gathered near the Chonhar Bridge after traffic on it was suspended due to strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The queue of cars stretches several kilometers deep into occupied Crimea.

This is evidenced by satellite images published by Radio Liberty on Friday, June 12.

The images show that traffic in the area of the Chonhar Bridge, which connects the Kherson Region and Crimea, is carried out exclusively on the pontoon crossing built by the invaders.

The image also shows the locations of Ukrainian missile hits on the roadway of both bridges.

A queue of several dozen trucks and cars has formed near the checkpoint, which is located several kilometers to the south. The occupiers are probably letting cars through one at a time so that they do not congregate at the crossing.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 7 and 9, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Chonhar Bridge using Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles. As a result of the attacks, the structure received critical damage, and traffic on it was suspended.

And on the night of June 10-11, the Ukrainian military attacked four automobile bridges across the North Crimean Canal at once, and also struck a cluster of trucks in the Armyansk area in northern Crimea.

Later, the Ukrainian military published a video showing footage of the destruction of bridges and trucks.
