Political analyst Mykola Davydiuk took the oath of office and assumed the duties of a member of parliament representing the Holos party, replacing Volodymyr Tsabal. The new MP took the oath of office during a session of the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, June 11, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

Davydiuk is listed as No. 27 on the Holos party’s electoral list. He submitted an application to join the Holos faction, which now once again consists of 19 MPs.

Davydiuk, 37, is a member of the Holos party; in 2019, he served as the party’s political strategist.
He began his career in politics during the 2006 local elections in Kyiv; from 2008 to 2010, he served as an analyst at the Committee of Voters of Ukraine.
From 2014 to 2019, Davydiuk served as a volunteer assistant to MP Ihor Popov in the 8th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, who was elected from Oleh Liashko’s Radical Party.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 27, the Verkhovna Rada prematurely terminated the powers of MP Volodymyr Tsabal from the Holos faction.
