In the Lyman Axis, the occupiers are throwing military personnel of the rear services who are not trained to conduct assault operations into the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. An officer of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Skamer" told this on the air of Armia TV.
According to him, the occupiers are suffering heavy losses in attempts to infiltrate in small groups between Ukrainian positions to accumulate forces and further assault. This is hitting the enemy harder and harder, since some of the personnel are dying on the approaches or even in the rear areas.
"When they find out at the top that there are almost no people left, they start recruiting two or three of everyone who comes across," the military man said.
Because of this, military personnel of the rear services who do not have the appropriate training are increasingly being sent to storm Ukrainian positions.
Another problem of the occupiers is that not all commanders on the ground report the truth about losses to the command. When real information reaches the top, it turns out that some units practically cease to exist.
He also said that in attempts to strengthen their capabilities, the russians are increasing the number of UAV crews.
The Ukrainian military is most troubled by fiber-optic FPV drones. They are actively used to damage logistics.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 4, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated at a Senate hearing that for the first time russia is losing more soldiers killed than wounded.
Recall, on June 1, the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState reported that in May the russian army occupied 14 square kilometers of territory. This is the worst result of the occupiers since October 2023.
