On the night of June 10, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important objects of the military-industrial and fuel and energy complex of the russian federation.
This is stated in a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, it is reported that in the Republic of Chuvashia, the russian federation, a strike was carried out on the VNIIR-Progress plant in the city of Cheboksary, the destruction of the target and a fire on the territory of the enterprise were confirmed.
The strike was carried out by soldiers of the Missile Forces and artillery of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Ukrainian FP-5 "Flamingo" missiles. The distance from the nearest area of active combat conflict in Ukraine to the object is more than 900 km.
The enterprise is one of the key manufacturers of navigation equipment for high-precision weapons of the russian federation. The plant produces satellite navigation receivers and antennas of the Comet type, which are used in Shahed (Geran-2) attack UAVs, Kalibr cruise missiles, Iskander-M operational-tactical missile complexes, as well as unified planning and correction modules for aviation bombs.
In the Samara Oblast of the russian federation, the Kuibyshevsk oil refinery in the city of Samara was hit, the target was hit and a fire occurred on the territory of the enterprise.
The Kuibyshevsk refinery is one of the largest oil refineries of the Samara group of the russian federation, with an annual processing volume of about 3.7 million tons of oil.
The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil and other petroleum products used to meet the needs of the military-industrial complex and the occupation forces of the aggressor state.
In addition, the tanker of the russian shadow fleet WEST Horizon was hit in the Black Sea, and the damage to the ship's propeller and steering group was confirmed.
The tanker WEST Horizon is used in the schemes of the russian shadow fleet to transport oil and oil products to circumvent international sanctions and restrictions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, special forces of the SSU Alpha hit the oil pumping stations Vtorovo and Lobkovo in the Vladimir Oblast of the russian federation, the distance to which is about 700 km.
