In Samara, russia, on the night of June 10, a fire broke out at the Kuibyshev oil refinery after reports of a drone attack.

This is reported by russian Telegram channels and the Astra publication.

According to Astra, OSINT analysts analyzed videos and photos published by eyewitnesses and concluded that the fire occurred precisely on the territory of the Kuibyshev refinery.

Before that, residents of the Samara Oblast reported the sounds of explosions. The governor of the region also stated about the missile danger.

The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil industry enterprises in the Samara Oblast and is part of the structure of the russian company Rosneft.

Official information about the extent of damage, casualties or the cause of the fire as of this morning has not been made public. The russian authorities have also not confirmed the fact of the drone attack on the facility.

At the same time, this is not the first time that the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery has been under attack. The enterprise was previously attacked in January of this year.

As a reminder, during May 28 and on the night of May 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important facilities of the russian occupiers, including the Volgograd Oil Refinery, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station, the Tor-M2 air defense system, the MTZ warehouse and UAV control points.

Among other objects of the occupying power that were hit was the Lazarevo linear production and dispatching station in the Kirov Oblast of the russian federation. Meanwhile, on the night of June 2, the Ilya oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of russia caught fire after a drone attack.
