On Monday, June 8, russian forces attacked 11 settlements in the Donetsk Region. The enemy shelling claimed the lives of two people, and another 11 were wounded, including a child. It was reported by the Donetsk Regional Police.
The cities of Bilozerske, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk, as well as the towns of Novodonetske, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, and Shabelkivka, and the villages of Iverske, Levadne, Ocheretyne, and Petrivka Persha came under fire.
A total of 53 civilian structures were damaged, including 33 residential buildings.
In Druzhkivka, the russians struck with three FPV drones and artillery, killing a civilian and damaging an apartment building.
One person was killed in Bilozerske after being struck by an FPV drone.
The enemy launched three KAB-250 bombs and a Molniya-2 UAV at Sloviansk, injuring 9 people, including a 17-year-old girl. Twelve apartment buildings and four private homes, an administrative building, a sports school, and seven cars were damaged.
Two people were wounded in Shabelkivka, where a drone struck a private home.
As a result of drone attacks, a garage was damaged in Kramatorsk, an educational institution in Novodonetsk, in Iverske—a café and an infrastructure facility; in Levadne—a non-residential building; and in Petrivka Persha—14 private homes.
In addition, today at approximately 5:25 a.m., the aggressor country russia dropped three FAB-250 bombs from a UMPK on Sloviansk. The attack struck a residential area on the outskirts. One house was completely destroyed, and more than 20 others were damaged. No information about casualties has been received so far. The final consequences of the shelling are being assessed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, servicemen of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign announced that they had established fire control over the logistics of the aggressor country’s army in the area of occupied Horlivka, Donetsk Region.
