In the Donetsk Region, a servicemember who sold 16 drones belonging to his unit was exposed and detained. It was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).

According to law enforcement officials, a senior combat medic in the unmanned aerial vehicle company of one of the battalions decided to profit from the unit’s property. He stole 16 drones made by a Ukrainian manufacturer and, through acquaintances, began looking for a buyer while concealing his involvement in the sale.

It is noted that a buyer was found quickly, as the cost of the drones was significantly lower than market value.

In late May, immediately after the sale of the drones, SBI officers detained the servicemember. Law enforcement seized all 16 drones.
