Thousands of people have not been able to fly out of the russian airport in Sochi since Friday, June 5, which is blamed on Ukrainian drones. The relevant video was published by the russian Mash Telegram channel on Sunday, June 7.

Thousands of people are stuck at Sochi airport. The russian public complains that the airport was opened only for eight minutes from Friday.

"The elevators break down due to the crowds of people, someone faints - the halls are incredibly stuffy. Passengers told Mash that there are no free chairs, people are lying on the floor on their own towels and mats, the information desks are jammed, and the scoreboards are empty," the report says.

In total, 39 flights were delayed on arrival, 37 on departure, 17 were canceled altogether. The airport's press service stated that they allegedly provided passengers with everything they needed, including water, and set up additional places for rest and waiting for flights. At the same time, the elevator broke down due to overload.
