On the night of Saturday, June 6, russian troops launched 272 attack drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 249 UAVs.
This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of June 6 (from 06:00 pm on June 5), the enemy attacked 272 attack UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas, with Banderol loitering ammunition and Parody type simulator drones from the directions: Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - russian federation, Hvardiyske - TOT AR Crimea.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 am, air defenses shot down/suppressed 249 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the report says.
19 attack UAVs were hit at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 13 locations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 5, the russians launched two guided missiles and 216 strike drones into Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 264 drones.
