In the near future, there will be news about military aid to Ukraine, which is currently being held up at the Pentagon. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated this during his speech before a Senate subcommittee on June 3, Reuters reports.

According to the head of the Department of State, information on the allocation of blocked funds will be made public "fairly soon", but he did not disclose any additional details.

We are talking about a USD 400 million aid package. Despite the fact that the US Congress fully approved this funding, the weapons and money have not yet arrived in Ukraine due to delays on the part of the US Department of War.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated during a hearing in Congress that as of April 29, the Pentagon had released the aforementioned USD 400 million. This military aid package was approved last year, but remained frozen. According to the head of the US defense department, the long delay in financing and supplying weapons arose due to "bureaucratic obstacles" that were overcome after prolonged political pressure from congressmen.
