Iryna Terekh, Technical Director of the Ukrainian company Fire Point, shared footage of test flights of the FP-7.X missile, which will form the basis of the Freya ballistic missile interception system. Ukraine and a number of European countries are collaborating on the project.

Terekh posted a video of the missile tests on her page on X (Twitter) on Wednesday, June 3.

"Just the other day, we conducted an extremely important test: a fully controlled maneuvering flight of the FP-7.X rocket, which will form the basis of the future anti-ballistic interceptor FREYJA," Terekh wrote.

She added that no matter how unrealistic and ambitious this goal may seem today, the company is making every effort to turn it into reality so that Ukraine can independently defend its skies.

Terekh emphasized that every successful test is a step toward Ukraine’s technological sovereignty.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in February of this year, Fire Point released the first video of test launches of the FP-7 missile, which was announced in 2025 as a ballistic missile with a 150-kilogram warhead.

Also in February, Fire Point co-owner Denys Shtylerman released a video of the FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missile striking targets on the territory of the aggressor country, russia.
