More than 41,000 people spent the night in the Kyiv subway, hiding from one of the largest attacks by the aggressor country of russia on the capital.

The Kyivskyi Metropoliten announced this on its Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The company said that more than 41,000 people, almost 4,500 of whom were children, hid from the enemy attack at the stations of the capital's subway.

The company emphasized that this is the largest number of people who were in the metro during a night air raid in recent years.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Kyiv Patrol Police released bodycam footage of officers who were among the first to arrive at the scene of the attacks by aggressor russia on Kyiv on the night of Tuesday, June 2.

The death toll from the massive attack by russia, the aggressor country, on Kyiv has risen to 7, with 90 people currently injured.

Damage from the attack has been reported in various districts of Kyiv.
