Massive russian shelling of Kyiv Region caused damage in four districts. State Emergency Service shows consequences

During the night of June 2, russian troops massively attacked the Kyiv Region, resulting in damage in four districts, and three people were injured. falling debris and hits caused fires in the residential sector and at civilian infrastructure facilities.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kalashnyk, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At night, the enemy attacked the region using drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles. Three victims are known: in Buchanskyi district, a man was hospitalized with a cut wound to his thigh, a resident of Obukhiv district received a shrapnel wound to his leg, and in Fastiv district, a man suffered an acute stress reaction.

In total, the consequences of the russian attack were recorded in four districts of the region. In particular, the Buchanskyi district has suffered the most damage so far - three private houses, logistics and warehouses, other non-residential buildings, as well as six trucks have been damaged.

In Vyshhorod district, two apartment buildings and a private household were damaged. And in Fastiv and Obukhiv districts, private houses were damaged.

Meanwhile, rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified the extent of damage from the night shelling and reported on fires:

  • Buchanskyi district: a fire in a townhouse with an area of ​​​​about 100 sq. m. was extinguished, and damage to vehicles was also recorded on the territory of the logistics facility.
  • Sofiivska Borshchahivka: a fire broke out in a two-story warehouse building, which was liquidated on an area of ​​500 sq. m. In addition, private residential buildings were damaged by debris.
  • Kriukivshchyna village: a fire broke out in a three-story building that is not in use. The fire covered an area of ​​225 sq. m.
  • Fastivskyi district: private residential buildings caught fire, fire and rescue units are carrying out work to eliminate the consequences.
  • Vyshhorodskyi district: a grassy area caught fire due to the fall of drone debris in an open area.

Kalashnyk added that operational services are working on the ground. Where the security situation allows, the inspection of territories, recording of destruction and elimination of the consequences of the attack are ongoing.
